Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology in the 21st century has created a new, unavoidable "technological condition" for all disciplines, including theology. This article critically examines how technology is not merely a neutral tool but an environment that reshapes theology. This research focuses on two main areas: shifts in biblical hermeneutics due to digital devices and changes in ecclesiology (the understanding of the church) in the era of online worship and virtual communities. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach and analysis of recent theological and sociological literature, this study finds that technology democratizes theological access but also poses the risk of shallowing interpretations and challenging traditional ecclesiastical authority. This article concludes by calling for a proactive "theology of technology" capable of embracing digital innovation while maintaining the depth of spirituality and the essence of incarnational community.
