This study examines the narrative of Abraham's call in Genesis 12:1-3 as a theological foundation for sustainable mission and community empowerment. Through an exegetical analysis of the Hebrew text, this research reveals that Abraham's call encompasses holistic missiological dimensions, including spiritual, social, and economic. Key terms such as lekh-lekha (go), berakah (blessing), and mishpachot (families) demonstrate that God's mission is both particular and universal. This research finds that the concept of blessing in Abraham's call is not only vertical (relationship with God) but also horizontal (community empowerment). Theological implications indicate that the contemporary church is called to engage in a transformative mission that empowers communities sustainably, integrating Gospel proclamation with social ministry.
